| As I walked off the plane at Auckland and about to go through yet another security check I met Taylor. She is from adelaide and going to a summer camp in Seattle. We both had this confused look on our faces and decided to stay together and work out where gate 6 was. Lucky we did as it took a bit to find the gate and it was great to have a conversation with someone. Once I got on this huge plane destined for LAX we experienced a fair bit of turbulence so the course was changed to go on the outside of the storm. Unfortunately I didn't get a seat next to the Best of people! One grumpy man who was shitty at the air hostess cuz his teenage son had a headache and wouldn't do anything about it. And the other who I only got a mumble from that he was traveling for a couple of years- but also a seat Hogg! .... Thank god for sleeping tablets! Dinner wasn't served until late because of the storm so I finally got some sleep after that. It's not very nice of air new Zealand to make us walk past these really comfy ottoman seats that the business people get to get to our economy seats!-guess once uve flown business or premium, you'd never go back! I'm in LAX airport now. Changed terminals pretty easy and checked in my baggage ready for my flight late tonight- even had to change into some shorts! :) Just having some lunch at another terminal and found that marinated chicken is actually chilli marinated chicken and really hot!!! Checking my emails I found one saying that my Tafe assignment has been marked and I have finished the whole double diploma! Yes! ... A great feeling! il waste a few hours here before I make my way back to terminal 7 for my flight tonight. nearly at camp now! ... Not long! :) Wasting time in LAX I have found the main international airport that has shops and food outlets. My backpack is driving me insane it's so full so I went to get a bag that I remember wanting way back when I went to Japan years ago..... Big decision on the print and as I went to pay for it I was told I can't buy it because I'm flying on a domestic flight and not international! Oh well! Il find something else later! :) Tom I found Hershey's chocolate and Reece peanut butter cups! They are pretty good!!! No hugs tho.... Only kisses so I'm not game to go there yet! But the Americans do have any sort of candy imaginable! Think it's just about time to go and get some dinner.... Nothing chilli coated this time! Maybe should read the signs better! ;) then il wander to my terminal and wait for my flight! Hope I get to sit next to some more considerate people this time and the storms keep away so I can get some sleep! Need to be pumped for camp! This time tomorrow il be arriving at lil bear pond! OH YEAH! |
