Sunset Jet Boat Ride and Packing UpJun 8, 2012

| Last night Debi and I went on a jet boat ride 22 miles down the Colorado River stopping at a number of interest points. I posted some pictures of climbers on the rock face, Indian Artwork, and some arches. I also took some pictures with the reflection of the mountains in the river a thing of beauty. Today I was to hike a ranger guided tour in Arches. I kept looking at the hike and when it came to walking along a ledge. You see I have a fear of that and if it were wide I could do it but continued to talk myself out of the hike. So anyway we had a wonderful breakfast and took it easy. Then we went into town to fill the truck with fuel, get some gifts, and a little shopping. Tomorrow will be moving day. We will leave here early in the morning for Salt Lake. It must be one of our travel days as a cold front is moving through causing the wind to blow. So we hope to be there in the early afternoon. I posted pictures. |
