Nothing scheduled for the day so initially thought we were going to get tickets for the on/off tourist bus but Tim wasn't feeling to well so I left him in the hotel room and set off walking towards the old city. I did a lot of window shopping, Barcelona is quite the fashion city. It is also a pretty large city. I didn't make it to that old city before I felt I needed to go back and check on Tim. When I got back, he was in bed and obviously had a fever so I went across the street to the pharmacy and asked for a thermometer. The clerk couldn't understand me so I went into another shop and asked them to write down the Spanish word for thermometer, they wrote termometro. Go figure! Got back to Tim and his fever was over 102. I sat with him the rest of the day and started making back up plans if he wasn't going to be able to travel to our much long awaited cooking school the next day. His fever approached 104 at one point and I'd purchased something from the pharmacy that seemed to start to bring it down. It was still over 102 when I went to bed. So much for Barcelona!
