| Today Simon and Claire went to check out the photo opportunities for the wedding and we went for a walk down to the local church and along the public footpaths to the river which was lovely and peaceful. After we had all had showers we went into the local village Alysham and caugh a 15 inch steam train to Wroxham, had a walk around the village trying to buy Lachaln a pair of gum boots but could not find a pair to fit him. Went to a toy shop and brought him a fire engine, had a beer at the pub and caught the train back. Early tea tonight as the bridal party have a rehearsal for the big day on Saturday. There is a competition in the village for the best scarecrow so while we were in Wroxham we bought a wedding dress and hat and Rosemary, Ally and Kym have made it up while Claire is at rehearsal and it is sitting on the fence out the front waiting for her to see it when she comes home. |
