We slept until 7:00 this morning and then sat in the living room, still in our PJ’s, to sip our morning coffee.
Marilyn decided to get out for a walk but I decided to stay here and accomplish a couple of chores.
While she was off for her walk I changed clothes, made the bed, straightened the kitchen and bedroom, and then went outdoors to check the RV battery. I added a bit of water and then put the tools away.
I finished up just as Marilyn returned from her walk.
While she took her shower, I made out some checks and walked to the mailbox to send off a few cards, etc.
We picked up Jesse & Ginger just before 12:00 noon and drove to Colorado Springs to meet Jim & Ellie at an Italian restaurant called “Paninos”.
Jim & Ellie arrived bearing a nice gift of grilling spices we can certainly put to good use. Thank you dear friends!
We enjoyed a fine lunch with delicious food, while the conversation and laughter continued non-stop.
We lingered as long as we dared after our lunch was finished, simply enjoying the company of these good friends.
We said “So Long” to Jim & Ellie with hugs and hopes of seeing each other down the road.
Back at the resort, Jesse bought an ice cream for each of us, as we chatted with Mary Nell for a few minutes.
Marilyn & I relaxed and checked our eyelids for leaks by closing our eyes and watching for any light which might leak in. LOL
We do have a few pictures to share with you so I’ll post those with this journal entry.
Paul & Diane walked up to our Site bringing a loaf of fresh baked bread. Paul has given us some of his home-made bread before and it is delicious!
Thank you, Paul & Diane!
So, after a busy day with friends, we’ll wind this down and call it a day. We’ve sure enjoyed our time with friends today.
Life is Good!
