Another shot of the day

We are still in North West corner of Ca. we will be here until June 20 the. We are only four mile from the Oregon border. Until now we have been sight seeing in Ca. We will be checking out a few more places to the north before we leave this location.

Brooking was our first stop into Or. We visited Azalea Park; it is called the “Crown

Jewel” of Brookings City Parks. This was a pack horse trail then eventually a wagon route from Ca. to Willamette River Valley of Oregon. The magnificent native Azaleas that still stand in the park, were already here when Lewis and Clark wintered in Oregon, back in 1805-06

Wow a 200 year old Azalea bush; my bushes do good to live, to be a YEAR OLD!!!

The coast line up hwy 101 is so breath taking. I think it gets more spectacular as we drive north. You may get tired of seeing so many pictures with rocks coming out of the water, or the sun setting, I can’t drive by with out stopping to get just one more shot.

Hope you enjoy, thanks to all that email us and lets us know you are enjoying the pictures.
