Friday evening we went to Gower Good Times Hall, where anybody can put their name down & be called to take a turn up on the stage. It was pot luck free dinner as well where people just take loads of food.

The talent on stage was amazing from a 4 year old singing to a 92 year old man called Hank singing & playing the guitar. Once people found out we were from England they kept coming over to chat which was lovely, they were amazed that we had found their hall in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere, but we explained that I had read about it in Off the Beaten Path a book I buy for every state we visit. Later that evening a man came over (Tim) and invited us back to his house that night as one of the groups was staying with him & the music would carry on there. We left the hall at 10pm and had to drive 18 miles to his house as we were driving in the dark we thought are we mad going to somebodies house we had just met but instinct told us it felt right, turned out a great evening and got back home at 2.30am.

Wal was even playing the washboard!!!

Well thats the Kansas City area now up todate now to catch up with where we are now.
