| weather cooperated again today. We took a nice hike to some waterfalls off the Bow Parkway- the path was rough asphalt all the way (about 1 1/2 miles each way with some serious climbing). The waterfalls were pretty spectacular! Us and half of Japan and Germany. Tour buses everywhere. We thought we wouldn't run into such crowds this early in the season as some campgrounds aren't open yet. The hike was a regular freeway. Hope crowds thin out later on. The mountains here are pretty spectacular and still a lot of snow on the tops. I took some pictures, but don't know how to load them on to blog yet. Just a short drive to Lake Louise tomorrow. We found wifi at the hostel in the campground. Having a beer. Don't think we'll have it for several days again. Update as we go. |
