Off early to the Farmers' Market. What fun that was, lots of produce including meats, (organic of course), veggies, breads, wonderful baked goods. Replenished our supplies, then off to Walmart for the rest of everything we have depleted. Met neat couple who moved to SF from Austin and the now has a blog on RVers. Has lots of Texas relatives so it became a "small world".
Bought a gas grill which we needed since we are in a burn ban area, including charcoal fires (left ours in storage in Ennis, duh). Huge fire south of us in the Gila Wilderness, smoke and lots of wind with dust here. Wind gusts up to 50mph, so spent the afternoon getting caught up on business items and Van of course had "things to repair", "fix" and I was his support staff. Wind is supposed to settle down Sunday and should be a beautiful Memorial Day. Anxious to "sit in my recliner outside" and maybe a trip to the pool for a dip to celebrate. Bought small flags today. Made some plans for the after Santa Fe trip until we get to Mesa Verde, Colorado June 5.
Life is good... tomorrow is Sunday so we will see what the Good Lord brings us !!!
