Old school drive in.

Restored gas station.

Blue whale

I entered into Kansas in the morning and drove the half hour into Oklahoma. I'm not sure what to say about OK. There's not a lot to see. Few quaint towns along RT 66. Farms have changed over from crops to critters. The road itself is in bad shape, it has these raised ridges at regular intervals that make your car vibrate. Good things about OK: gas is $3.19 a gallon and the speed limit on the highway is 75. At dinner at a local restaurant a little boy looked at me and cried because I looked so scary, so I finally stopped at a motel in Elk City to shower, do laundry, shave and sleep in a real bed.
