From home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia ...

We had a busy day. Our day began at 7:30. We went to Weight Watchers to weigh in. (Yep, we're back at THAT again.) We decided not to stay for the meeting today since we had plans to go to Greensboro, NC to do a little shopping.
We drove in a nice rain switching from light to drizzly most of the way to NC. We arrived just in time for lunch. We were pretty hungry since we hadn't had anything to eat yet. So of course we opted for lunch at PF Chang's. We eat there often when we go to Greensboro. Since we don't have a Changs in Roanoke, it's a nice treat for us. And the food was delicious as always.
Then we were off to If Its Paper to pick up some supplies for my little business. I buy my envelopes there for my greeting cards, and various sizes of bags to pack jewelry and cards in for customers.
On our way out of town, we noticed the new Whole Foods store. Another reason to come to Greensboro a couple times a year! We went inside and picked up a few items before heading back home.
As we drove north on Rt. 220, Charlie spotted a strawberry farm just off the highway. We pulled off to check it out. We were in luck as they still had fresh strawberries, and he bought a very large box for only $10.
We returned home about 3:30pm. Charlie then went out to play 9 holes of golf. I opted to stay home and do a few things around the house.
Tonight I cut up some of our fresh strawberries and made a delicious strawberry shortcake dessert for us.
Tomorrow we are going to attend my first Gem Show. I'm excited about it although not sure what I will find to bring home. Hopefully, I won't find TOO MUCH to bring home!
