THE SUN IS SHINNING again today
Hit the tube again a peak hour and for the second morning in row Lachlan has none to sleep on Kym s knee.. We think it is the movement of the train that is doing it and must say people have been very kind in giving up their seat to whoever was carrying Lachlan.
Max and I left Kym and Simon and tackled the tube by ourselves for the first time as I wanted to see Westminster Abbey and they had already done it before. They went off to the monument which is the monument to the Great Fire of London but with 311 steps to climb I decided to give it a miss and see through WA instead. We made it without a hitch but when we got there Tuesday was the only day it didn't open until 12 noon. Bugger!!! So back on the tube to Leister Square to get tickets for Lion King which we had looked at the day before but not done anything about it and decided ( or rather Simon did) that if we didn't see at least one show on West End we would regret it afterwards. Met up with Kym & Simon again and walked through to Coventry Garden Market which was lovely. There were people singing opera and it was good as Kym and Simon had never seen that before. Had lunch in a Church garden and then had the most amazing ice cream I have ever had.....sorry beats Symmo's
It was Claire' birthday so we drove up to Cambridge to have tea with her and Will... Sausages and mash. It was lovely to see their new house which is a traditional thatched roofed house built in the 18th century. They are getting very excited about the wedding. Didn't get back to London until very late.
