| Well, we finally made it to Custer, South Dakota. The trip was everthing that we expected it to be. Lots of miles and a few stops. We stayed overnight at two rest stops.One in Indiana, and one in Iowa. We met some nice people from Florida at a rest stop. They are also heading for Alaska. We spent the third night at a Passport America Campground in Mitchell,S.D. We traveled across South Dakota and enjoyed the sights. The rolling hills, the long road, and The Badlands National Park. The weather has been great with lots of sunshine. Now we are going to visit Custer State Park, and then Mt Rushmore. |
