| Day 11 - Tanunda Today was a short drive from Auburn to Tanunda, only 80 odd kms. It had been predicted for us to have heavy rains for the next 4 days, but this morning was once again lovely blue skies and sunshine, who knows what the next 3 days will bring. Gosh I think I’m sounding like a broken record. The sunshine was delightful, but it was accompanied by horrendous winds. We arrived in camp in Tanunda around 11am, just in time for morning tea....oh boy what a hard life this is......not!! The wind was so strong and swirly we didn’t attempt to put the awning out, with the billy boiling and coffee and fruit cake all was well. We are all going to my cousin Jenny and Mal’s for dinner tonite. The rain did eventually show its face, so this afternoon was taken up with doing some washing and getting this journal up to date. |
