| Today we drove from Pink Mountain, BC. to Liard Hot Springs, BC. It has been a Great Wild Animal Day!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can see from the pictures we saw moose, elk, mountain goats, buffalo's, and bears, bears, and bears! Joanna has been board with straight roads and either wheat fields or pine trees since we left Illinois. Well, today she wasn't board. We are in the Rocky Mountains with curves, hills, and mountains and animals along the road. She would yell out the animal and I would check the mirrors for now cars and slam on the brakes so she could take pictures. The speed today varied between 35 mph and 55 mph on the uphills and down hills. The motor home kept shifting between 4th, 3rd, and even 2nd gear to get up the mountains but the driving was easy. Tomorrow we only drive 130 miles to Watson Lake, Yukon Territory. |
