On The Road Again 2013 travel blog

This is a Brahma Bull. He was to busy feeding his face...

RAAF Boab Quarry Campground is a quarry. Its in the Camp 5 & 6 book. This was once used during the war. At this stage I am not sure what they used the materials in the area for, but can only think it may have been for an airstrip. It has many camp sites and all free. At present its being used by the local council as the road from Tunnel Creek to the Great Northern Highway Turnoff of being upgraded. While we were driving around we were within metres of a Brahma Bull. He has floppy ears. Anyway he was not bothered by us, so I took a photo. As he was the only one around,I think he may have been a friendly one as the council workers were staying close buy.
