| We left New Orleans last Tuesday with a lot of things left undone. We got to see a lot of New Orleans and experience some of the highlights but there is a lot yet to see and do. We will have to wait until the next trip to New Orleans to complete the experience. We are now at 370 Lakeside Park in St. Peters, MO. We stayed here last year and it had just recently opened. The trees haven't grown much but the ranger told us they have been putting out roots and they will now start growing up. A few more years and it will be a very nice park. It is will designed for families with bike paths, a play ground, and a small lake for fishing and boating. We are mainly visiting Jeanne's family in the St. Louis area. We will be leaving Monday morning for a short drive to Peoria, IL for an overnight stay and visit friends from Borrego Springs, CA. Tuesday we will be leaving for Iowa and hopefully find an RV Park we can get in and stay through the Memorial Day Holiday. Jim and Jeanne Sammie and Halle B. |
