Hello everyone: Well it is time for an update. AT the last time we chatted we were in Provo,Utah. It is a very pretty little college town-Brigham Young University- quite a campus. We are in Teton Valley (Victor and Tetonia, Idaho). The Teton Valley is wonderful- I will include several pictures on facebook. We have been here 6 days and I think we have travelled every square inch of the valley. We spent a day in Jackson Hole, Wyoming shopping- that was FUN!! Brandon and Carter- you have soooo many little gifts that I and your Grampie cannot resist!!! I cannot wait to bring the two of you out here. You will love the animals!! Today we toured the Teton National Park- all I can say is awesome. God knew what he was doing when he created this land! We saw buffalo, pica (little chipmunks-so cute)pronghorn,moose,and elk. The Tetons are so rugged- all rock and snow! We played golf the other day- it was great with the snow capped mountains behind us. The course was probably the nicest we have ever played- it had long fairways with large logcabin mansions as the background. All things considered we did very well and actually parred a couple of holes! We have been to Yellowstone and toured the lower (southern portion) of the park. We actually saw a Grizzly bear- they are Huge!! We have been so lucky, as we LOVE the animals and saw many many varieties in Yellowstone. It was fun taking pictures and sending them to my friend Brooke, who grew up in the park as her dad was the Chief Park Ranger. I sent her a few pictures- she was able to pick out exactly where we were. Brought back memories for her. We plan to go back next week- we move to Ashton tomorrow. It is a very small town and the campground is in the middle of NOWHERE but it does have a golf course attached to it! Idaho, as you know, is known for their potatoes- there are many many acres of planted potatoes- across gently rolling hills- it is real pretty- all the farmland- I am not sure what their secondary crop is but is a pretty green that goes for miles.
