Travelled from San Jose to La Fortuna. So far so good travelling with 7 strangers. Our tour guide (Melvin) is awesome. We went white water rafting on level 3 and 4 rapids. It was great. They were continuous rapids but the water wasn't so deep. The hostel is really nice. Really new and has everything. Not much different than a hotel only $60/night instead of $300. We went for an incredible dinner. Coconut shrimp. The cats and dogs are aloud to just come and go as they please so had dinner with one cat and one dog. Shared my shrimp as it was enough to feed a small family. We went to a club afterwards and then to bed. The heat and humidity is crazy. I haven't done my hair in days and really I don't think anyone else has either. lol
