Today we arrived at Corfu. Corfu is quite a large Island, of which we really only saw a small part. Our first stop was a palace, which was nothing compared to Doge Palace, but the views of the ocean were amazing from the water and it had quite a large garden.

Corfu has many olive trees, I believe the tour guide said over 3.5 million. They are also the only place in Greece that can grow kumkwats, so they produce them in mass quantity. They almost look like lemons growing on trees, and they are everywhere. They harvest olives on Corfu by allowing them to fall to the ground so you sees black tarps around the trees to catch the olives.

Our next stop was the esplanade which is full of shops and restaurants. It seems to be a very touristy location.

We probably didn’t see everything that we could have seen at Corfu, we had only 3 hours there. So far, not my favourite place in Greece.

We went to the theatre tonight and watched an amazing performance called “Come Fly With Me”, it was a couple who had worked a Cirque du Soleil, they were absolutely amazing, they did areal acts and dancing. They received a standing ovation. It was incredible.
