We were pretty glad to see familiar things like.... STARBUCKS! when we got out in the HK airport. Lammie was so distracted by the opportunity to get a latte that she didn't notice the temperature checking/screening device when she walked past it. Nigel was so distracted by the cool new gadget that he didn't notice that Lammie had already gone through. There was a heat sensor that checked and displayed your body temperature on a monitor as you walked through the screening area. You could see the shape of your body all mapped out in blues, greens, yellows and hopefully not red! After the SARS incident, they now check everyone's temperature as they enter HK.

We got to our hotel in North Point, checked out the harbour view from our room, then took off for Kowloon, to take in the view from TST back across the water to the Hong Kong skyline. We were both pretty tired from as our flight from Delhi left at 7am, but at night when you're in Hong Kong, you can't help but feel energized by all the people wandering around and by the bright neon lights.

We met up with Jobina (Lammie's friend since pre-school) and her husband Andrew for dim-sum in Wan-Chai. It was great meeting up with them and catching up on all the gossip. Then we met up with Lammie's Uncle Stephen and Auntie Helen for dinner in Wan-Chai. It was a great visit and we had a wonderful time.
