Grandkids and Mother's Day
May 13, 2012
|After a great night of sleep and several cups of coffee this morning, we were ready to go.
We met Jennifer, picked up the grandkids, and drove back to the Campground for breakfast and a day of play.
We spent most of the morning outside, even cooking fish for lunch and serving it with the ever favorite mac & cheese, and apple sauce, washed down with lemonade.
We ate lunch at the picnic table on the patio and I guess the fresh air made the little ones tired because when nap time rolled around, they picked up their toys and came right in to lay down for their nap.
They were asleep in five minutes or less.
Marilyn & I took advantage of that quiet time to doze in our recliners. Well, sort of that is. We watched golf and dozed, just being relaxed.
We all went to the playground once the grandkids awoke from their nap.
By the time we walked back to the RV it was time for some dinner and then “tubby-time”.
We finally drove to meet Jennifer and say “So Long” to those little bundles of love.
We had a fine day spending time with these little kids that we love so much.
Now I’ll just write a sentence to Wish each and every one of the Mother’s out there a Very Happy Mother’s Day.
My wife Marilyn is one of the best, next to my own mother who has been gone for nearly 18 years.
Like I said before, “Love never dies”.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. I love you still!
Happy Mother’s Day Honey. I’ll love you forever!
Because of people like those I’ve mentioned today, I can honestly say that Life is Good!
