| Again, we managed to leave exactly on time from Streaky Bay! Let me tell you, it is so easy when you haven't got a timetable. Well we were on the road by 9.55am. Amazing, considering Diane DID NOT want to get out of bed this morning. I admit that it was a bit cold, but hell, I was out there in shorts and tee shirt beavering away putting things away and packing up. I did relent and let her arise from the pillows at her own pace. After all, it was "Mothers Day". We started on our way down to Port Lincoln and stopped off to see "Murphy's Haystacks". A gloomy day today, so not very good for photos. But another amazing place. They are of course just rocks sticking out of the ground, and the photos aren't going to do them justice. That is why you will see Di in a few, so that it does show some sort of size comparison. Further down we went into Venus Bay. Another absolutely georgeous fishing / holday hamlet. Not very big, but very popular. From here went on to Elliston. The next set of photos are from the Elliston Cliff Top Drive.    I can't do this coastline any justice with the photos I take. Can't get the depth or hieght.We haven't got to Port Lincoln yet Bruce, but I'll give Dean your regards. Tonight we are in Coffin Bay. Got here in time to set up and at last get some decent TV reception, so Di was able to watch the Dockers. That was only possible because they were playing Port Adelaide. SA are just as parochial as WA. Will look around here tomorrow and then head to Port Lincoln and then up the east coast of the peninsular. |
