Day 2 - Deming, NMMay 5, 2012

| Continuing westward 342 miles along on I-10 to Deming, NM were arrived at the Escapee Dream Catchers RV Park. We got checked in and all settled after a welcome from the park manager. It has been a long day and we were ready for supper and a good nights sleep. Now everybody has seen those really long freight trains. You know the ones that have hundreds of cars with shipping containers double stacked. Well the railroad tracks were within a mile of the park. The noise from those trains woke us too many times during the night. So we were a little slow getting on the road Sunday. Now we know where not to stay next time we are in Deming. |
