| Still Hanging out in Istanbul Relaxing more finally but the schedule is still busy. We were now able to do a little more touring and had the opportunity to visit with some of the people we met during the conference. We are discovering Istanbul is a very difficult city for a wheelchair. Many of the new Malls and building have accessible restrooms but restaurants, nightclubs and historical sights do not. We have found a couple though and have resorted to locating nice hotels and asking permission to use there facilities, Not Ideal but good. We were able to see Star Wars III in the Theatre. They do not dub the voices on first run movies here in Turkey, so we were excited to watch a movie since we are film junkies in English with Turkish subtitles. |
