| Playing the best team we have faced (Sampdoria) the boys really stepped up their game. Ater trading early goals where we scored first on a solo Effexor by defender Alex Cancilla Sampdoria equalized later in the half. But another goal before the half by Sean Tiexeira gave us the lead. That score would stand after a back and forth second half. Region 1 finished the Italy tour with a 5-2-0 record and 5th place in the 32 team tournament. Later today we will watch the final between the Hungary National team and the team that knocked us out on PKs ... Maccabi Haifa. All boys healthy but tired!!
