Arrived in Las Vegas on April 18th. Staying at Thousand Trails. We are very tightly packed in here and found other places cheaper and nicer after we got here. Oh well, we will know next time. Have had a great stay. Originally planned to stay one week but decided to extend to allow time for Dale to get new glasses.
Have seen five different shows - Jubilee (a lavish production show), Chris Angel's Believe (magic), Crazy Horse (a Paris trained group of almost nude dancers with interesting lighting technics), Tournament of Kings (sorta like King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table done on horseback while you eat your food without utinsils) and the best was Dancing with the Stars (Carson Cressley is the MC and just about steals the show). Lacy Schwimmer and Demitri are the pros from the TV show, along with a Las Vegas troup of 10. Also in the show was Kyle Massey, Sabrina Bryant, Joey Fatone and Tia Carrea who competed on the original show.
So many shows here that you would have to stay several weeks to see a quarter of them. Lots of good food and shopping galore. And then the beautiful side trips which you will see pixs of in other entries.
Next on the itinerary is Williams, AZ, where we will take a short side trip to the Grand Canyon and then on across I-40, heading for Branson, Missouri by the 18th of May.
