| 4/26/2012 Today we traveled 330 miles through Louisiana into Mississippi. I hate to say this, but it was a pretty boring trip through both states. The scenery was nice, in both states, the highway is lined with trees, making it look like you are on a 4 lane highway in a forest. It sure was a lot nicer than looking at ten foot walls all day. We also found a place to stop and get a new rim for the one that got bent yesterday, and a place to switch the tires so we could get the old tire back on the trailer. We arrived in Toomsuba before dinnertime. This park is set almost 2 miles off the freeway, in a wooded area. It is almost like being in a national park, except here we have all the amenities and the internet! the biggest problem we have been having is the 80 degree plus weather. In itself, it is not really a problem, however, none of the parks have their pools open yet, too early in the season. Hopefully after the 1st of May, this will change, I do miss California! No pictures today, nothing to take pictures of. |
