Well, here we are, still on South Padre Island, TX. We've decided that until we have to leave for New Orleans (about a 12 hour drive from here), that with the hot temperatures (28-30C), what better place to spend our time than next to the ocean. We had to give up the condo unit we were in, because it was booked for this wknd., but we got another unit in same complex that is probably a little bit nicer, but on the 4th floor. I prefer the lower unit for location but this one is nice too. Going to a turtle rescue facility for a tour this a.m. We will be checking out of here Sunday a.m. Apr.29 & plan on being in Lafeyette, Louisiana Monday night so that we can go to a restaurant there that we went to 2 yrs. ago as food was great & they had some great live cajun music as well. Tuesday a.m. we will head into New Orleans.
