4/23/2012 Today we headed into Dallas to see the JFK exhibit: The sixth floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. The book depository has been made into a JFK museum. It was a very interesting exhibit, it sure brought back a lot of memories from that fateful day. It was interesting to read about all of it to see what I remembered from that early age of 10. After the museum we went a few blocks away to Pioneer Plaza where they have a cattle drive set up in front of an old cemetery. It was right in the middle of town, kind of neat to see. On our way out of town we also saw the JFK Memorial that Dallas had erected. It was kind of a strange thing to see. I couldn't get a picture as we drove by, but the museum talked about it, basically it was just 4 walls with no ceiling and didn't go all the way to the ground. There is nothing inside at all. I think I would have wanted his picture on it or something. Personally, I think the city wasted their money on that one! Afterwards, we once again had dinner with Missy's parents.
