| Went to the First Baptist Church this morning. Heard a wonderful sermon from a young preacher. Then we rode down to the wharf to where they were having the blessing of the shrimp boats but we must of missed it because we didn't see anything. They did have a car show and some booths set up. Brought a beautiful necklace and earring set made out of cut glass from a very friendly lady. Decided to come home and have lunch. We spent a lazy day sitting on the beach until the bugs drove us in. Received a call from Rhonda (Donald's sister) that his dad had a wreck. He pulled out in front of a car on his way to church. Thank God no one was hurt. He did hit his head so she took him to the hospital but everything was fine. No One was hurt in the other car. The boy said he thought he might pull out in front of him so he had slowed down but couldn't keep from hitting him. Tomorrow will be laundry day and maybe a little cleaning. Plan on moving on down the coast on Wed. |
