|With roughly a 30 hour layover in Los Angeles on our way to Fiji we were lucky enough to experience a 5-star stay at the Four Seasons Roberts on Acacia Street in Cypress, California, a small suburb of L.A. After a sighting (and slight stocking but only for confirmation of identity) of the Destination Truth guy (one of the ONLY tv shows we watch) in the airport our Four Seasons experience began. We received a personal airport pick up (in a top-of-the -line family wagon) by our dear friend Danny. After a short drive to the resort, we were greeted at the door with a beautiful smile and huge hug from Michelle, also our dear friend and Danny's wife. Together we dinned on fine wine and Chipotle burritos. After a hot, luxsurious shower, we were off to sleep in a bed unrivaled by any we had found in our travels half-way around the world. The next day we spent with Michelle and Max catching up, running errands and preparing some good home-cook'n. Before we knew it we had to say "good-bye," we were off to Fiji.
