Garafuna village in the island Punta Sal

Hi , it's me again..still in Honduras and was able to go on a tour to Punta Del Sol which is a beautiful point off the coast of Tela, Honduras...almost seemed like an island but it is connected to the main land. There we hiked a bit through the jungles and then enjoyed snokeling, sunbathing and a terrific Garafuni lunch. Tela is pretty old and run down village but has a lot of character to it. I think in the future there will be more tourism here. The water and beaches are great, very warm.

So this week and possible next week I will be studying Spanish since I have forgotten much of what I learned before. A week of classes here is about $109 dollars..cheaper than most Latin countries. Hopefully this weekend I will go on another tour in kayaks through a mangrove river where you see many animals. Many backpackers coming here from Nicaragua where they were very impressed with how Nicaragua is developing. OK enough for now - Glen
