Hello everyone, Queenstown, imagine an alpine ski resort plonked in the middle of a souped-up version of Scotland with great lakes, mountains and scenic views. Now sprinkle it with bungee-jumping, jet-skiing and speedboats and you have pretty much got it. Something for everyone. Touristy bits and quaint too. The highlight was our 3-4 hour walk around the gorgeous Moke Lake in a valley at the foot of a beautiful mountain range. We stay one night at Moke Lake and two nights in the Top Ten campsite in Queenstown its self. Luckily we were in Queenstown for half price drinks night at a local bar where I worked my way along the taps of NZ brewed ale, Monteiths is a chain of pub/restaurants which we have come across. The closest we've come to real ale. Their Summer Ale tasted of ginger which was unexpected yet quiet pleasant. Original Ale was the best. Much love C & P xx
