| today i explored the city with tami a aussie girl from Sydney. we started the day at san cristo a view overlooking the whole city. The smog was terrible and not much could be seen. santiago has a beautiful backdrop of the andes, but not very much can be seen through the smog. tami and i then had lunch in provedencia. lots of beer and a delicious wrap. we then stumbled accross a free tour group, which was really impressive. A lot of the history and stories of santiago and chile were told to us. I am learning lots about what to do and what to learn about each place to get value. we met a swedish guy named jacob who i arranged to meet tommorow at santiago's famous fish market. my first travel date hah .. we will see how that goes. we ended the day drinking cristo til about 1 in the morning. |
