Hi Y'all !Sorry for the short and sweet update yesterday that was just sent out a few minutes ago but the last campground was charging for the Internet and you know how cheap HeyU is. He wouldn't let me send it out on Tango.
Well we left Candy Hill in Winchester, Virginia about 8 am and arrived here at
Pine Grove Campground, in Penn. shortly before noon. It will be nice to take the afternoon off. The weather again is wonderful! Looking at the thermometer it's 21 deg C or 70 F , the sun is shining brightly and all is quiet.
I guess we're the first day traveler in this campground today because they gave us site A1, and I guess that's the best you can be!
One thing I'm keeping an eye on is our rear left tire that is again wearing on the inside edge. We wore that same location last year and I replaced it with the spare which was new in Mission last year. Therefore there is only one trip up and one trip down, and of course this trip up that we're on. I took the rig to the dealer and he told me the problem was solved. The last year's problem was never corrected????? I'm keeping a very close watch on it's development and feel we shall be OK for the rest of the trip home.
Both my companions are dead to the world (asleep, that is). I wish that I could nap like that through the day. If I do, I feel really sick and disoriented when I awake.
I thought that we'd be able to go to the restaurant here for supper, but, it is only open on the weekends this time of year. So when that time comes we are back to cooking. We had Pizza delivered in last evening because who want's to cook when it's 91 deg outside. We got the Pizza from
'Brothers Pizza' and I don't think we've had a better Pizza yet. They sure are not skimpy with the ingredients. We ordered a Chicken Hawaiian and the chunks of chicken and mushrooms were large, the bacon was smaller but the taste was excellent.
I see a little two seat airplane in the empty lot next door so I think I'll take my book over there and enjoy the sunshine.
Love
Tom & Rita.........and HeyU , who like Mom is awake now to take on the rest of the day!
