Manly Mann moved the coach to the Lock campground today, to prepare for leaving on Saturday. Thanks to our friends Lorraine and Warren, there was a spot for us to park the rig.
Before going to the campground, Manly drove over to our marina to wash all 39 feet of the Journey. It's hot, he's on the roof slippin' around in soap suds, draggin' 50 pounds of water-filled hose...and he hears a voice.....
Voice: I sure wouldn't want to put gas in that!
Manly: You sure wouldn't...it's a diesel!
Voice: How many miles do you get to the gallon?
Manly: 36 on the highway, 24 in town
Voice: What?
Manly: Yeah, I know, I'm pissed, the salesman said 40 on the road.
So the voice went away.
Registered both cars and the coach today...paid our taxes...bought four tires for the Honda...very glad Ivory is gainfully employed...think I'll stay out of sight for a while.
We are eating everything in the house that's perishable...Ivory has been concentrating on the fruit, eggs and bread....Manly has been targeting the Cool Whip.
Pray for Manly's intestines....Cool Whip and toast for breakfast tomorrow!
