Busy day ahead of us today so we were off early to the Anheuser Bush Brewery(www.budweisertours.com), it was after 1PM when we left Budweiser so to fill a craving we had for waffles we went to a Waffle House for lunch. Our next stop was the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Park (cahokiamounds.org), about 1200 years ago this was an Indian city covering 4,000 acres with at least 120 mounds and 10 to 20,000 inhabitants. From there we drove 15 miles north to the Lewis and Clark confluence tower (www.confluencetower.com), it is a 150 foot tower that over looks the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Mary still not feeling well but much better than yesterday, I think it is a case of motion sickness.
