Hi Y'all !We have landed at our
Most Favorite Campground 'Rocky Top' just south of Bristol and not too far from Bristol Raceway. They've got the most fab Wash rooms and we both just have to have our showers there, so clean and well appointed. Rita say's that they only need a few more shelves in the shower for holding all those slippery bottles of shampoo and conditioner.
The Campground last night became one of those late night family, have fun on the weekend campground experiences. Especially after the next door Buddy , a real 'Good Old Boy'. A real born right here in Alabama guy! Found the NASCAR Sprint Cup race from Texas Speedway on the radio, and had it on the highest setting. It's one thing to have it on TV but another when it was blaring from the left of us and loud country music from the right. The babies in arms were up long after I was........ It's a good job I'm deaf in one ear , I simply rolled over on my 'good' ear and made them all disappear!
I found out in the morning that I was wrong about this being Jr's race , but I've been wrong before.....I think........no, maybe I'm wrong. Biffle won and Jr. came in in 10th place. Another top 10 will not hurt his points race.
It is so peaceful and quiet here today, I wonder if I'll be able to sleep with all this quiet??
We just finished devouring a Domino's Pizza that was delivered right to our little RV. Man, that's living the High Life!
Tomorrow we'll be heading for Virgina to a campground called
Candy Hill. We've stayed there once before and found it nice.
Well I thought I got rid of the paining hips with the nice shower but find it is creeping in again so I better hit that old 'Arthur Rightis' bottle and simmer things down.
6 pm and still 26 deg C outside, it is truly spring, Thank you God, and those Red Bud Trees in full bloom that you have along the highway are really pretty!
Got to simmer down now , read the Sunday Paper, watch a little TV and go to bed.
"Hugs to all !"
Tom & Rita..............and HeyU, who's, guess what?, already asleep!
