Lazy in Perugia!!!!

Today, I slept in as the rain, vino, and the last 17 days kicked in! I showered, did laundry ( in the shower! :) and ate left over pizza. When the sun peeked out, I decided to go into the city....lo and behold, right when I turned the corner from via de prioni.....a group of people were playing music and a priest was leading the way to the church....Celebrating Jesus, I was told by a lady!!! An older gentleman grabbed me, and led me to the circle that everyone was dancing and chanting.....I gave my camera to two little girls and asked them to take some pics! What perfect timing.,,,after the dancing, the priest gave a sermon.....paolo called and we met for an espresso!!!! Fabulous!!!! I am going to Assisi tomorrow on the train....spend the day and hopefully meet up with Paolo in the evening to call Laura and Jacko (sp?) to communicate my time with them! Paolo is from the area of civitanova, so he wrote some some destinations down that he thought would be interesting for me to see.......most importantly on Saturday's, there is a SHOE MARKET!!! Wholly moly! Will be shipping shoes, so let me know your sizes!!! Look them up in European size.....per esample....I am size 9=39 or 40......please note, I do not have time to figure your size out :)... So if you are interested in some Italian shoes, let me know and I will ship one big order! Also, describe your preference...sandal, open toe, boot, etc!!!!! I am getting ready to eat a veggie sandwich and read a little!!! I love you all so much, and truly wish each and everyone of you could experience this adventure!!! One must truly " live on the edge" ....break/bend the rules and go for everything you got! Our life is not a dress rehearsal! Xxxxoooo
