At the city park in Collinwood, TN

This morning we reluctantly left Piney Grove Campground after a quiet and restful week. Back to the Natchez Trace, we headed north, crossing through a small piece of NW Alabama. The terrain is beginning to change in subtl ways, rolling hills and more embedded rock can be seen along parts of the roadway.

As we entered Tennessee, we noticed a turnoff for information and a welcome center. We picked up a state map and found out there is a small city park in town with 2 30amp sites and full hookups for $15, OK we'll take the last site. Not a lot of amenities or great views, but overnight it beats Uncle Wallys by a long way.

There is great cell coverage, so I have posted photos for entries dated Apr. 6 & 9. Included in the photo updates are the Mississippi Redneck and some reasons why we liked Piney Grove Campground.

Have a good weekend and we'll write more from the Nashville area.
