Stopped to top off before we left because the Conoco station had diesel for $4.46 a gallon. Mary drove the first half of the 275 mile trip to Saint Louis, battled a 15-20mph side wind all the way. We are staying at the Safari RV Park in Fairmont City across the Mississippi river from Saint Louis in Illinois. It was still early afternoon when we got in so after a quick lunch Mary did up a load or two of laundry while I got everything hooked up. A couple of hours at one of the local casinos and we were still home before dark ready to call it a day
