Our Carriage Tour

This was absolutely the best way to tour Charleston’s historic neighborhoods. Our guide, Eric, was cordial, welcoming, and jovial. He was the kind of local who made you feel at home with true Southern hospitality and a wonderful comedic personality. Prior to the ride, he made sure that he addressed each traveler, introducing himself to us and asking our names and where we were from. He entertained us with tales and fun facts about the city's exquisite history with over three hundred years of information.

We saw a variety of historic homes, churches and establishments and we went down the famous Broad Street which is where all the multi-million dollar homes are. After our carriage ride, we visited the Market Place with its cultural wares. Another great day in Charleston!
