Kumar Parvata is considered one of the toughest treks in Karnataka, well I didn't know this fact until I completed it. Now that I've completed it I want to write about my expereinceswhile going through it.
April 6 9:00 AM - Sitting alone in the house, I was thinking of my plans on coming weekend. as my wife is gone to home town and me being a reclusive man, I didn't have many options. No friends to booze with or no party plans. So the idea to go to a trek formed in my mind. In fact i've been thinking about trekking for a some time now. The last trek I did was somewhere in October 2011, a full six months ago.
Checked the bmcindia.org site and found the list of treks for weekend. However there was only one trek spanning two days. So Kumar Parvata it is.
April 6 10:00 PM - Caught the BMC's minibus at Murugeshpalya. After driving around Bangalore and picking people from different locations, it actually departed for destination somewhere at 11-11:30PM.
