Just An Update

From Advanced RV Resort – Houston/Pearland, TX

Since we last posted on the journal we have returned to our so called “home base park” in Pearland and have gone to some follow up appointments generated by our December stay in the area. Glad to report all had good outcomes. Nothing else much has occurred since arriving here and as a result……No Posts! However we will be heading for a HitchHiker Hill Country Rally later this week and that should result in some interesting posting material.

Seems so far this year our travel itinerary has been interrupted and we are presently not looking that far into the future at destinations. In our full timing years in the past we knew where we would be six and nine months in advance but not this year.

Several things have contributed to this lack of direction but this is what makes our lifestyle so unique….we can put our RV travel itinerary and its' destinations on the back burner and go somewhere we are needed, stay as long as necessary and we are still at home! So, posts will be rather sporadic until we set a more definite course of travel and its timeline.

However since arriving in Pearland we have had the opportunity to visit with some friends here at the park....Ron & Ellie. We also spent our first Saturday here with our daughter April and attended the Artfest in Memorial Park....enjoyed this very much. Then just this past Saturday, our son Lance grilled some delicious pork tenderloin and also fixed some awesome pulled pork. We enjoyed this good food while watching the semifinals of the Final Four college basketball. This is always what is nice about returning to this area......family and friends.
