Snow-capped mountains along US-89

The road you see is I-70

Today we visited Zion National Park. Very beautiful. We took a ride on a shuttle that went through the canyon. The ride through the park itself was well worth the admission fee (I (Cheryl) have a Senior Pass so we got in for free).

We then drove north on US-89 to I-70 (it begins in Utah). We did not realize that Utah was so beautiful. Every time we came up over a hill, we gasped at the scenery. At times it felt as if we were driving down into the Grand Canyon. Could not take enough pictures.

Tonight we are staying in the little, little town of Green River, UT. Tomorrow we cross the Rockies through Denver. Denver is expecting snow but hopefully not until we leave.
