Hello everyone! Busy tying up loose ends today in anticipation of leaving tomorrow a.m (Apr.2/2012). We have appointment for new car mtnc. in Calgary tomorrow @ 10:15. Car is idling too fast @ cold start. Hopefully it won't take too long & we can be on our way. Planning on making it into the states by tomorrow night (maybe Shelby, MT.) I may or may not make daily entries on this journal (depends on how much is happening & if we have nightly access to computer connection). We are heading south to Texas through Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, to Texas. Plan to spend about a week or so in Texas & then onto New Orleans to take in music festival. We are booked into New Orleans May 1/2012. It will actually take about 6/7 driving days to get into Texas (we aren't making this a marathon), but we will also be exploring & sight-seeing along the way. Following New Orleans, we will be heading northwards but maybe a little more east through Mississippi (did I spell that right?) :).....Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, etc. We do tend to fly by the seat of our pants sometimes, so that is definitely not written in stone!
