We wanted Lisa to see a really beautiful part of Arizona, so (with Miss Daisy on board) we made a day trip to Sedona. The "High Country" had received 48-hours of snow ending the day before we left, making for beautiful snow-capped mountains.....all of course in deep red. The sun was out, roads were clear, and the temperature was in the mid-sixties. It couldn't have been nicer. We visited the beautiful Chapel of the Holy Cross, had lunch on an out door terrace, and drove part way up Oak Creek Canyon. Miss Daisy experienced snow for the first time in over a year and didn't seem to know what to make of it. All-in-all, it was a great day. Sedona is a special place.
