Day #29, Mar 17, 2012, Saturday:

Brion & Sondra & ourselves travelled to another Florida gem, following a tip from Marshall Byle, The Circle-Bar-B Preserve near Lakeland. Wonderful outdoors location developed from an old ranch. Well managed, well staffed & developed by Polk County, FL.

Spent three hours wandering the trails and picking up great looks at a lot of good birds. Missed the nesting Barred Owls however.

Returned home to watch the Woman's curling on TV and be part of one of Sondra's culinary experiments, hot jalapeno peppers stuffed with Philadelphia cream cheese and baked in the oven.

Well, being in a fairly carefree mood Brion & I tied right into them – Lord for hot!! Neither of us could speak for over a minute and then only to cry for more cold, cold beer. Our eyes were running tears, planes were flying in & out our sinuses, and our lips and tongues were seeking a CO2 extinguisher!! Sondra will modify the instructions next time!
