Since Marilyn became a “Lifetime” member at Weight Watchers, she goes to weigh once a month. Today was the day.
I was up early but let her sleep later. In fact I had to give her a shout to get up in time to go to her WW meeting to weigh in.
I took my Kindle along and finished up a book I have been reading while Marilyn was inside.
She joined me after a bit with the news that she had remained at the same weight, neither gaining nor losing this month.
Well OK, Let’s go have breakfast!
We did just that, and enjoyed our huevos rancheros with several cups of hot, steaming, coffee.
We had planned a short trip to Walmart but were most of the way back to the resort before we remembered, so we just went home.
We’ll go to Walmart maybe Saturday morning. Early!
I set up the computer and printer, then finished my Federal Income Tax return. All was OK until I tried to print the darned thing and had a paper jam every time.
Finally, I was able to print one page at a time and got it done.
Now, all that remains is to write a check and mail it in.
As I struggled with the printer, Heinz stopped by and asked if I wanted to go for a ride with him.
He likes to explore old cemeteries and wanted to show me one or two of them. The first was founded in 1836. Of course that was the year when the Battle at the Alamo took place and all of this land was part of Mexico at the time.
We were back at our resort before noon and made a plan to have Happy Hour at 4:00, here at our site.
In the afternoon I remained glued to the TV watching March Madness Basketball games.
My bracket looked good after the first six games.
The installer of our blinds returned and finished up with the hold down portion. We are now happy with the whole thing. LOL
Heinz & Irene, along with Bob & Janet joined us for Happy Hour. The laughter and conversation combined with the great weather to make it a very nice evening.
We weren’t hungry at dinner time so Marilyn popped some good popcorn from Shipshewana, Indiana. We munched on the popcorn and called that dinner.
We have plans for another fun outing tomorrow so check back with us.
Life is Good!
